Terms and Conditions
A few ground rules for using Route Buddy while we get ready to launch.
Last updated: October 12, 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Route Buddy website, its prelaunch waitlist and early web app, operated by Route Buddy Inc. (“Route Buddy”, “we”, “us”). Please read them before using the website or beta features. If you do not agree, please do not use those features. Questions can be sent to support@routebuddy.ca.
2. Prelaunch information and availability
Route Buddy is a rural community delivery platform under development. Website descriptions and app screenshots illustrate the intended experience; features, communities, availability and launch dates may change. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, priority access, a delivery or availability in your community.
3. The free waitlist and email updates
Joining the waitlist is free and does not create a booking, payment obligation or commitment to use Route Buddy. Please submit an email address you control and accurate information. Your optional community helps us understand local interest.
The signup form asks separately for your consent to receive launch and early-access emails. Reading these terms or browsing the website does not give email consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@routebuddy.ca from your registered address or using the unsubscribe option provided in an email.
4. Beta access and your account
The early web app is currently for beta testers approved by our team. Public account registration is coming soon. A waitlist signup does not create an app account. Use only your own authorised account, keep your sign-in details private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Beta features may be incomplete, unavailable or change without notice. Report issues to our support team. Do not rely on a preview, test listing or incomplete feature as confirmation of a delivery or payment.
5. Responsible use
Use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit misleading information, impersonate another person, send spam, upload harmful content, attempt to access other users’ accounts or information, or interfere with the website’s security or operation. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns or violations of these terms.
6. Bookings, deliveries and payments
These website and beta terms do not set the commercial terms for delivery bookings. Delivery eligibility, prohibited items, fees, payment handling, cancellations, refunds and participant responsibilities will be explained in the applicable service terms before you use those services. Joining this waitlist does not authorise a charge or establish insurance coverage for a delivery.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy & email updates page explains how information submitted through the website and early web app is handled. Please do not send sensitive personal information in waitlist fields or general feedback.
8. Website content and feedback
Route Buddy branding, designs and website content belong to Route Buddy or their respective owners. You may view and share links to the website for personal, lawful use. Do not copy or reuse our branding or content in a way that suggests our endorsement without permission. If you send feedback, we may use your suggestions to improve Route Buddy.
9. Third-party services
The website may link to or use third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not guarantee the third party’s content, availability or performance.
10. Availability and your legal rights
We aim to keep website information accurate and the site available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free beta features or that every preview will become a final feature. To the extent permitted by law, website and beta features are provided as available without guarantees of a particular outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Route Buddy develops. We will post the revised terms here with a new update date and provide any additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. Please review the terms before using new features.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. For questions about these terms, beta access or the waitlist, email support@routebuddy.ca.
